KIDS AND YOUTH.

The GLOBAL CAREPACKS kids and youth program is a series of teacher led ecosocial transdisciplinary courses available to schools and communities around the world for students ages 6-12.

PROGRAM DOMAINS.

3 transdiciplinary domains cover the range of knowledge, skills, and experience essential to realize our potential to thrive across generations. Our connection to our communites, the relationships between communities, our connection to our environments, and our connection to the unknown. All these relationships require understanding and skill-sets so that we can build, maintain and regenerate our communities into the future.

Explore the science of successful prosocial economies

Study evolution and learn from traditional knowledge: Evolutionary science shows us how our ability to cooperate developed within land-based knowledge systems

Understand motivation: Intrinsic motivation and emotional needs models can help us understand what drives people to take prosocial action

Research collaboration and explore how humans learn: Adaptive intelligence models and prosocial processes can teach us how we can adapt and learn to cooperate effectively. Understanding and mastering the power of out-group agression with prosocial methodologies

See the bigger picture: Contextual behavioral and change sciences can show us how communication and situations influence cooperation

CONNECTION AND REGENERATION KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS.

Beliefs, Narratives, Emotions, Behaviour

In this video Rob Harrison-Plastow speculates on how a belief in separation within the Western world view (with its roots in ancestral trauma) could be driving narratives that lead to emotional responses that in turn drive behaviours of extraction, violence, exploitation and domination.

And that it is this belief and ways of seeing and being that follow from it, that have caused and perpetuate the metacrisis.
